Message I was over an hour south of you (about 15-20 min from MIR in Budds Creek), so it wasn't like I could just drop by... drove up Friday night (arrived at the hotel just after midnight) got up and was working on the car by 8:30am, didn't get back to the hotel until 11:30pm, then started again at 9:30am the next day... we rolled outta town at 6pm last night trying to get my brother home at a reasonable hour so he wouldn't fall behind on Engineering homework. Jeff (Z owner) might stop by some time over the next few weeks and pick up my engine hoist from you to bring down with his Z... I'll call/IM you and work out the details before he drops by (his bud was in a bad accident Sunday morning, and got flown to Bethesda, so he'll be up there visiting every so often to check on him, might drop by on the way home one day, I'll set it up with you first).

But it was a nightmare to have things go the way they did just before we left... we left 3 hours after we wanted to trying to trouble shoot the problems... =( but it "seemed" like the #1 & #3 injectors are wide open just dumping fuel... it was pushing fuel out the downpipe (we didn't have the exhaust hooked up, we were just trying to test fire it) and then it almost locked up because of how much fuel had been put into the cylinders... It only turned over for about half a seconds before "stopping". =( Thankfully we figured out what it was doing and stopped trying to turn it over and took the spark plugs out to try and push the fuel out... That was a rather interesting sight (was my brothers idea, and needless to say, he went to crank it and wasn't standing next to the engine when it threw up at us! d'oh). That was an interesting moment... =( by checking the plugs #s 1, 3, 5, 4, & 6 were wet and smelled of fuel... #2 was dry, and 5, 4, & 6 were just moist, but #1 & 3 were drenched... =( We didn't have an Ohm meter on hand at the time, so I couldn't test anything... he's had interesting experiences with the Z since buying it... so nothing surprises him (oh, and BOY do I have stories about his Recon Long Block... oy).

So he's going to trailer it to me so I can do more thorough diagnosis, possibly take it back apart if I have too. So now I'll have two TT Zs sitting at my new house to work on (not including my own peronsal TT that needs work), lol...
